August 1981, Xiamen Solid Electronics Limited was founded in Xiamen as the first Sino-foreign joint venture of the city; May 1997, Amoisonic Electronics Company Limited was incorporated, with Xiamen Solid as its main sponsor. June 4, 1997, "Amoisonic Electronics" was officially listed in Shanghai Stock Exchange (SWAP code: 600057)

July 28, 2003 Amoisonic Electronics Company Limited was re-registered as Amoi Electronics Company Limited, a part of our Brand name re-engineering project. In year 2003, the sales turnover of Amoi came up to RMB 6,817,000,000 (approx US$823,300,000) while the net profit reached to RMB 614,000,000 (approx US$ 74,150,000) .

Today, the registered capital of Amoi is RMB 429,800,000 (approx. US$52,000,000) and its total asset is RMB 4,347,000,000 (approx. US$525,000,000) .

As a technology driven International electronic corporation, Amoi is focusing on 3C industries, namely Communication, Computer and Consumer Electronics. Amoi Electronic Town, our new manufacturing plant covers an area of 400,000 square meters. We possess the most complete mobile phone assembly line in China, we do everything from software development, hardware design, SMT, plastic molding injection, UV painting to the finally assembly. As the flagship electronic manufacturer in China, our annual manufacturing capacity is: Mobile phones 10 million sets, PHS 2 million sets, LCD TV 300,000 sets, DVD player 2 million sets, amplifier 5 million sets, speaker 1.5 million sets, computer and peripheral device 1 million sets.

Amoi boasts a strong team of product research and development. We have set up 3 research centers in Xiamen, Shanghai and Nanjing respectively. The annual expense on R&D totals 6% of its sales turnover.

In 2003, Amoi achieved continuous and sustainable growth in Mobile Phone market and its PHS sale becomes one of the top 3 of China. Meanwhile Amoi had expanded its business to new areas and developed its products of Notebook PC, flat panel TV and Mp3 player. Year 2004, Amoi focused on digital 3C and high-end digital TV & digital camera development. Now, Amoi will start its business in automobile Electronics and bring more enjoyment to consumers.
